Question: Why is it so hard for white people to admit that they have the upper hand?

recently i can’t seem to get any of my friends (mostly new ones) to understand the concept of white privilege. i just don’t fucking get it. it’s right there in front of your face every fucking day. if i can see it then why can’t you? slavery still exists. racism still exists. and you’re only fucking perpetuating this shit by pretending its all good and everybody is on a level playing field. ITS NOT A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD. minorities aren’t in poverty because they’re lazy and love drugs and hurting people, which for some fucking reason everyone seems to think is the case. pull your heads out of your respective asses and take off the horsey blinders people.
